Artist's Description

In imagining inside a human cell, miniscule cities of genetic information and clouds of cytoplasm swirl in bright colors. The nucleus, mitochondria, and other organelles float like jewels. Membranes pulse into bubble-like rotund forms. The collage painting is inspired by the visual reality of microphotography and dream visuals of meaning. The Microbiology Landscapes Series originals have been on display in New York City and Seattle, WA.
